After the pooja, Vinayan said:

"'Naalai Namade' is my third Tamil film.  This is also a different kind of film like 'Kasi.' About 10 crore people suffer in India without a shelter and with no help from the Government.  How many children are forced into beggary.  This film will portray the true story of their lives.

Sharvanand

In Kerala, Janaseva Sishu Bhavan is providing help and refuge to such children. The children in that Ashram  will act in the film.  Ram and Sharvanand will be the heroes and Thanusha will be the heroine.  Bharadwaj will compose the music.

My passion is to do such films not accepted by others. Directing films with super stars is like living in a cage.  There will be restrictions and methods for  directing such films.  It is easy for me to do films in my own independent way."
