'Silandhi' is produced by Shankar on behalf of G Company. Munna is the hero of the film which is directed by Aadhi and Monica is the heroine. Chandru is the villain in the film.
It was reported that hero Munna has behaved improperly with Monica. Following that Monica alone acted in a song sequence.
In this context Munna has complained that the producer and director are sending wrong news about him. When asked about this, Shankar vented his feelings.
"’Silandhi' is the film that made Munna a full fledged hero. He was made the hero only on his friendship with director Aadhi. But after the film was started, his tantrums became intolerable. Having demanded an exclusive photographer for him, he would ask to be photographed every morning. After seeing the photographs he would abuse the photographer and drive him out.
Thinking of himself in the range of Kamal Hassan, the troubles Munna gave were intolerable. The condition that only the cameraman and cinematographer to be present at the time of Monica's glamorous scenes did not stop Munna being present and ogling at Monica.
He has indulged in conversation with words that have double meaning and harassed Monica. Sometimes the shooting had to be delayed because of that. Now he is complaining about us only to project himself as an honest person" said Shankar furiously.
