Young directors are now taking up the subject of software culture and BPOs that is currently prevalent in India. Selvaraghavan's story for 'Yaradi Nee Mohini' featured a software company in the story. Shriya is acting in an English film about working in a call centre.
In 'Chennayil Oru Mazhaikalam' featuring Trisha, Gautham Vasudeva Menon's story has call centre culture in the background. The same is true of 'Chennai Pattinam' starring Priyanka and Vamsi Krishna.
While this new call centre culture is drawing many new directors, Hari continues with his hard hitting action films and so is Perarasu.
