On one hand Bharath had a respectful birthday celebration with fans and garlands. On the other, there was blood donation and fans cheering for Dhanush. It was his birthday celebrations too.
Actually Dhanush's birthday is on 28th but on that day he will be busy with outdoor shooting. So as not to disappoint his fans, he was having advance birthday celebrations.
Despite being in films for so many years, yesterday was the first time he spoke of charity. He has not done any direct charity till now, but from now on, he will (will he enter politics?).
As a start, 200 of Dhanush's fans donated blood. Fans cheered him with cries of 'Illansingham' and 'Thennattu Bruce Lee.' When some went as far as calling him 'Ilaya Superstar,' Dhanush was startled.
"Please do not call me that," he ordered gently. "I don't need any titles at all." He continued with folded hands, startling his fans!
