There are two songs in the film. The debut music director M Karthik who has more than a hundred advertising commercials and six music albums to his credit has composed music for the film. He has shown his expertise both in background score and songs and they are exciting. Two songs are likely to be part of the super hit songs of this year.
They are certain to become popular ring tones and will be appreciated by everyone. Director Aadhi is very confident when he says, "M Karthik has all the talent to become a successful music director."
The romantic duet with the hero Munna and heroine Monica "Idhu kaadhal minsaaramaa...illai kalai urchaahamaa' was shot for four days in Pondicherry. Director Aadhi has written the lyrics of the song. Ranaina Reddy and Nitinraj who have sung several compilations have sung this song. The shooting of this romantic song has turned it into poetry on celluloid.
Heroine Monica's dance in a glamorous costume under the 60 feet high waterfall for the song 'Sandana vettaikaaraa, idhu manmadha naattukkaadaa...' is written by a new lyricist Ramesh. It is sung by Sweta Suresh in her stuperous voice. Dance director Dhina of the recent super hit song 'Kathaazha kannaale kuthaathe nee yenna… for 'Anjathe' has choreographed some stylish movements for Monica' s dance. No doubt the glamourous number of Monica wet under the waterfall will keep the audience faint. Master Dhina believes that this dance number will be his next powerful attack.
Song sequences were artfully captured in camera by Fauzia Fatima. Editing by S Satish Kurosova is divine. The story of 'Silandhi' is woven around a true story that shocked everyone. It is a fast paced compilation of the thrilling events that happened in just 48 hours.
