"I am here at this function because of producer Ravichandran, who invited me. I know him for the past 25 years. He has released many of my films in India. He should continue to release my films in India. Only then I would be visiting Chennai more often. I have heard a lot about the Chief Minister Mr. Karunanidhi, about how much he has done for cinema and the many good schemes he has implemented.
I know Amitabh Bachchan for many years. He is superstar of the superstars. I saw 10 minutes of 'Dasavataram.' It was wow! I would love to act with Amitabh and Kamal. I'm an actor too and can fight and act. If I'm invited to perform here, I definitely will. We can make a film together. They can do the action scenes, I will do the romantic ones," said Jackie Chan with humour and hugged Mallika, much to the amusement of the audience.
Amitabh said, "I received my first award in Chennai for 'Saath Hindustani' from Kalaignar Karunanidhi. So, I have a close affinity to Chennai. Everytime I come to Chennai, I meet Kamal and spend some time in discussions. We have acted together in one and half films. Another half film is yet to be released. Kamal is not only a great actor, he has lots of individuality. After watching the scenes in 'Dasavataram,' I was amazed, and a bit envious too. Kamal has done what we have not done."
