There is intense competition between Nayantara and Trisha who have grown into comparable strength.  They are dream girls in both Tamil and Telugu cinema.  Though they posed as friends in the beginning, a virtual war has now broken out between them.

Nayantara was originally slated to pair with Vijay in 'Pokkiri'.  Though Trisha is a favourite pair for Vijay, there was a split between them when Trisha started praising Ajith.

Not having attended Trisha's birthday, Vijay had recommended Nayantara for 'Pokkiri'.  But when Trisha met him and said a thousand sorry's after shedding a lot of tears, Vijay relented and retained Trisha for the role in 'Pokkiri'.

In 'Kuruvi' too, Nayantara was slated to pair with Vijay.  But Trisha's politics played the game and removed Nayantara from the film.  In Telugu films also, this competition is beginning to intensify.

Nayantara now suspects that Trisha may have played a role in having removed her from the ambassadorship for the Chennai Kings.

The fans of these dream girls are seriously worried about where this war will lead to and how it is going to end.
