'Paruthiveeran' has earned several appreciation as a good film, good box office collection, excellent direction, exceptional performance and so on. The award at the Berlin Film Festival and recognition of Ameer and 'Paruthiveeran' is important for Tamil cinema.
Cinema Press Club always likes to award good artistes in recognition of their talents and hence has arranged for a function to felicitate Ameer on May 2 at 6pm at Film Chamber located on Anna Salai. Director Bharatiraja will honor Ameer.
Directors Association president SA Chandrasekar, Producers Association president Ramanarayanan, Film Chamber president KRG, Actors Association president Sarath Kumar, directors Agathiyan, Seeman, Cheran, Lingusamy Kayar and others will participate in the function.
The function will be headed by Cinema Press Club president RT Sakthivel and Kalipoonga Ravanan. The welcome address will be by former treasurer Adhirajan. Amalan will speak on the Berlin award. Actor Karunas has designed the function.
