Inba
This is the story of a young man Inba, who is beset by one calamity after another.
Shaam is a smart young man, who unfortunately finds himself behind bars due to circumstances, even as he is a student. When he's out of jail, he sees his future spread out before him in the horizon.
To support his mom and younger sister, he gets himself a job as bodyguard to Sneha, the younger sister of Arun Pandian. In due course of time, Sneha falls in love with Shaam. When Arun Pandian comes to know of this, Shaam is once again in a dismal predicament. The triumph of the heroine's love and hero's struggles, forms the climax.
Apart from sporting a beard, it's sad to see no other glimmer of acting in Shyam. If this continues, Shyam will have to face the same struggles as he did in the film!
Like sudden summer showers, Sneha's glamour is surprising. She's usually delicate like a chaste maiden, but in this film, she's a hot sizzler.
One does not know if Arun Pandian is talking seriously or trying to be funny, and this is rather an irritant.
The young boy and Poornitha who act as the young Shaam and Sneha are satisfactory. Ganja Karuppu's comedy does not quite click.
Some dialogues by Subha are striking like, "You are searching for a life's partner, but I'm searching for life itself."
Newcomer music composer Balaji will hopefully make us sit up in his next film.
Story, screenplay and direction are by Vendhan. So?
'Inba' is to be pitied.
